My love for dogs started at age 2, when my parents introduced me to my first pup. Since then, I have never gone without a furry relative. Today I'm a mom of two dogs and one amazing little toddler boy whom I have the honor to teach how to love and respect dogs.
I left my full-time job to be a stay-at-home mom, and that opened the door to follow my passion: working with dogs. I get to spread love in every home I visit, learn from each canine buddy I meet, and — most important — do what I truly love. My clients (human and four-legged) all hold a special place in my heart.
Hi, my name is Butler, and I give Laura FIVE PAWS… I mean, FIVE STARS! When my humans told me a new walker was coming, I was a little nervous. (Okay, very nervous.) I don't usually warm up to new people fast. But the second Laura walked through the door, I knew she was one of the good ones. I went straight to her side and didn't want her to leave. She smelled like cuddles, treats, and sunshine. Now I know exactly when Laura is coming — I start pacing back and forth, watching the door, tail on full alert. She's gentle, patient, and gives me plenty of time to sniff everything. She even feeds me dinner sometimes when my mom isn't home! My dog Pertzy is a 15-year-old beagle obsessed with me. I've had to travel for teaching this year and it's been hard for both of us — I wouldn't be able to do this without Laura. She cares for Pertzy several times a week, and it gives me such peace to know I can trust her fully with my dog and my home. When Pertzy fell ill while I was away, Laura took her to the vet and got her the care she needed. She is trustworthy, but most especially she loves dogs — and that shows in everything she does.
Ellie (Laura) has been walking our dog Max for over 2 years and has even cared for him at her home, sometimes on short notice.
